Upper Harbour Local Board - November 2023

Grant to install a new fire tank for the safety of our tenants and protection of the buildings in case of a fire.  This replaces our old concrete water tank that had cracked right around it's base and could not be salvaged.

Upper Harbour Local Board - October 2022

Grant towards the cost of replacement conference chairs and storage trolleys.  The new chairs are easily moved around on the trolleys to the desired location and are designed for long periods of seating, so are great for training and conference sessions held at the camp.  In addition, the new chairs do not damage our wooden flooring like the old ones were doing.  A number of groups who have used the camp since the chairs arrived have raved about them and what a difference they make to using the camp.

 Upper Harbour Local Board - June 2022

Grant for replacement of our failing thin foam mattresses.  The new mattresses are waterproof and fire retardant, which ticked boxes for the campsite in relation to health and safety and are also made from high density foam which makes for a great nights sleep.  Many positive comments have already come in regarding the mattress upgrade.

Upper Harbour Local Board

Grant for replacement of our old and failing dining room furniture.  This grant has made a tremendous difference to the many and varied community groups who utilise our facilities.
